4-Ingredient Cheesy Spinach Crescent Rolls

These Cheesy Spinach Crescent Rolls are a deliciously simple snack or entrée that includes only four ingredients and takes only 5 minutes to prep!

I’ve been making these Cheesy Spinach Crescent Rolls for years now. I’ve done several other variations using crescent rolls as well.

The traditional kind, and well-loved by my kids, includes just sliced hot dog roll-ups. Or another favorite version is simply adding mozzarella cheese sticks to the crescent rolls and roll them up.

You also can’t go wrong with these peanut butter and chocolate-filled croissants – a delicious and simple dessert! The original recipe calls for using pastry sheets, but it also works great with crescent rolls.

I’ve also made these Easy Cheesy Beef Roll Ups for a different way to enjoy beef.

And if you’re more of a chicken lover, check out this crescent roll dinner recipe that only take 10 minutes to prep!

4-Ingredients Needed for These Cheesy Spinach Crescent Rolls

  • crescent rolls
  • crumbled feta cheese
  • fresh spinach
  • shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: egg white

How to Make These Cheesy Spinach Crescent Rolls

First, mix the cheese and spinach together.

Next, open up the crescent rolls and lay them flat on a non-stick baking pan or on top of a silicone mat. I prefer using the mats since they never stick to the foods and it’s a super easy clean up.

Then place about 2 tablespoons of the mix on top of each crescent roll.

Now roll each crescent up with the end of the wrap facing down.

Finally, you can do this optional step if desired. Beat one egg white and brush it on top of each roll. This results in a nice browned texture after they are baked.

Quick Snack Ideas for Kids

This meal is usually made as a last-minute idea when I’m pressed for time. Also, when I notice I have cheese to use up or my crescent rolls are expiring soon.

When that afternoon hunger appears in kids, look out! I don’t know about you, but a few of my kids get distracted and forget they are hungry. Personally, I don’t understand that, but I believe them lol.

Here are a few family favorite snacks I make. Typically I make them ahead of time for an easy afterschool snack or as a grab-and-go snack while we’re running to after school activities.
