These Broccoli Cheddar Cornbread Muffins are the perfect lunchbox addition or after school snack that are delicious and satisfying for kids and adults alike!
Thank you to Produce for Kids for sponsoring this post.
This year I have two children in school full time, a second grader and a kindergartner. I can’t believe that we have reached that point since it seems like yesterday I was home 24/7 with a 3 year old, 2 year old and a newborn. And since they are going to school all day, I am packing two lunches five days a week (with the help of the kiddos). Since I like to keep things simple, yet add enough variety so they don’t get too bored I love making homemade muffins like these Broccoli Cheddar Cornbread Muffins
My kids typically love any kind of muffin I make so these were no exception. They loved them in their lunchbox, as an afternoon snack and even with dinner. And the best part is I thankfully had all the ingredients for this recipe in my house. Yes, even the cooked broccoli, although mine is usually roasted.
For this recipe I have teamed up with Produce for Kids® and Meijer again to promote the Jump with Jill program that focuses on healthy eating for school age children. The Meijer and Produce for Kids campaign, which will run Sept. 3-30, takes place during Family Meals Month in September. When you’re shopping at Meijer during the month of September and purchase foods from the following brands, a donation will be made to Jump with Jill. Sponsors include:
