With warm summer temps and school ending this week, I can’t wait to relax outside and enjoy the warm Michigan weather that we have for about three months every year.
I know, it’s not a lot, but us Michiganders sure like to take advantage of it when we have it!
Warm weather also brings plenty of backyard barbecues with plenty of grilling.
One of my favorite foods to grill is beef sliders, not only because you can customize them to your liking, but they are also kid-friendly because of their size.
Today I’m bringing you a delicious Caprese-style slider which is amazing in flavor with a few spices added to the lean ground beef and four delicious toppings!
If you’d like to add a bit more to these burgers, you can also add a homemade balsamic glaze like I made for these Avocado Caprese Wraps with a Balsamic Glaze. But don’t worry, these taste excellent just how they are! And if you’d like a more traditional type of slider, check out these amazing Big Mac sliders – they are super easy to put together and will definitely be a crowd-pleaser!
I also served them with my favorite sweet potato fries which are a great addition to any burger. And I highly suggest using fresh mozzarella slices, it’s definitely worth it!
