This Caramel Apple Dip comes together in no time and is the perfect sweet appetizer to serve at a fall or Halloween party this year!
Over the past month I have been buying apples in bulk since they are not only cheap but the kids are eating them like crazy! They still love how I cut and prep them with an apple slicer + rubber band…a very simple yet useful solution to keep the apples from browning in their lunch boxes. See this page for a visual example. And with all the apples in the house I couldn’t resist making this sweet apple dip loaded with caramel and nuts.
My mom gave me this idea a few years ago and I finally got around to making it. I typically bake a ton of apple recipes each fall like these Apple Cider Donut Mini Muffins,
Apple Pie Oatmeal Cookie Cups,
and Rhubarb Apple Cinnamon Muffins just to name a few.
This dip is basically a caramel apple but much easier to eat! The kids typically enjoy anything sweet and this dip was no exception. Husband approved too!
