{Updated Oct. 2024}
Today I’m bringing you a delicious kid-friendly (and mom-approved!) snack.
I’m all about making snacks and meals simple. Of course as a dietitian, I also still strive to provide wholesome nutritious foods to my family. That’s why I create simple snacks like these energy bites that are loved by my entire family.
And I’m all about saving time in the kitchen! That’s why I definitely love having a bunch of grab-and-go snacks in our house. But besides saving money and time, making homemade snacks can be so much more nutritious at times than store-bought.
And although I still purchase plenty of store bought snacks, when it comes to making homemade snacks, they still can’t take up a lot of time in the kitchen.
That’s when energy bites like these Cinnamon Apple Oat Energy Bites come in handy. And the best part is they have wholesome ingredients and only take between 5 and 10 minutes to prep.
Now if only I’d learn to make a double batch because once I pull them out of the fridge they are typically gone in one setting with my family! I guess that’s a good sign that everyone loves them!
