Simple Ingredients For These Easy Halloween Oreo Truffles
- Oreos
- cream cheese
- chocolate wafers
- Halloween sprinkles
I have made truffles in the past but had a difficult time with the melted chocolate part.
This time I took to other blogs to get a better understanding of how to coat the truffles properly.
I found THIS TECHNIQUE to work the best from Crazy for Crust.
Just keep in mind you need to add sprinkles pretty quickly after coating the truffles or they will harden before you have a chance.
Also, you need to work rather quickly before the melted chocolate becomes too thick.
I had to reheat mine a few times and the chocolate still went on fairly thick (thicker than I would prefer).
Regardless, the taste is amazing, they just may not look as pretty as they could.
