This Easy Honey Mustard Grilled Shrimp recipe is the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. And it takes less than 10 minutes to grill!

I’ve been experimenting quite a bit with cooking these days and using a variety of foods including sauces, vegetables and different protein options.

Since the weather here in Michigan has finally turned the corner and is reaching the 50s and 60s we are enjoying as much outdoor time as possible.

And despite the challenging period we’re going through with this pandemic, we are making the most of it by spending time with one another – more than we’ve ever been around each other!

We typically spend a lot of time in our backyard, especially in the summer months.

However, since we have nowhere to be, we’re spending much time outside now. And to add some change to our lives we’re eating more dinners outside as long as the weather cooperates.

And with the number of meals I’m cooking lately, one of my favorite, simple ways to cook is to grill!

That’s where this delicious Grilled Honey Mustard Shrimp recipe comes into play. I put it together last night and it was ready to grill for today.

The shrimp should be marinaded for at least 30 minutes, but I like to marinate overnight for the shrimp to absorb as much of the flavors as possible.

First, I placed all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisked it together well. Then I added the marinade and shrimp to a gallon-size sealed plastic bag and placed it in the fridge.

Then, all you need to do is skewer the shrimp onto wooden or metal skewers and discard the marinade. Now it’s ready to grill!

You know how I love discussing heart health on this blog?

Well, Mazola Corn Oil is a great option. Mazola Corn Oil is a heart-healthy* cooking oil and creates marinades that make great-tasting food because it has a neutral taste that lets the natural flavor of your food stand out.

It’s a versatile oil as well and can be used for baking, sautéing, stir frying or in salad dressing.

As a side dish, I decided to drizzle sliced onions and bell peppers with the Mazola Corn Oil and add them to the grill pan to grill them as evenly as possible along side the shrimp.

The grilled veggies complimented the honey mustard shrimp perfectly. Besides enjoying this recipe now, I can’t wait to make this recipe again in the summer months!
