These Mediterranean Hummus Steak Vegetable Wraps take less than 30 minutes to prep and are full of delicious flavors all wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla!

We are finally enjoying the outdoors with “normal” Michigan spring temps! I can’t tell you how happy this makes me, along with the rest of my family.
And spring temperatures basically mean barbecues, neighborhood gatherings, bonfires, kayaking in our backyard and just about anything social.
We can’t get enough of our neighborhood with the number of families with children the same age as ours, and the plethora of opportunities to hang out with all sorts of friends.
And with all this socializing and being outdoors the last thing I want to do is cook!
That’s why I rely heavily on the snack-kind of meals. Some of my favorite combos include hummus, raw vegetables, fresh fruit and some kind of cracker.
At times, however, I even get sick of snack-time of meals at times.
So I create simple meals like these steak wraps that take less than 30 minutes to make.
Since I always have a family-size container of hummus in the fridge, making a Mediterranean-style wrap was a perfect choice.
Dietitian’s Dish
I started this meal with lean sirloin steak, which everyone loves. But I also make the rest of the meal versatile enough for my entire family to enjoy.
As you can see by the image above, I placed all the toppings separated on a plate along with the steak on another plate.
Everyone then had the chance to spread their own hummus onto the tortilla and top the wrap with whatever toppings they desired.
Giving my children choices is a huge help when it comes to meals appealing to everyone!
Mediterranean Steak Vegetable Wraps
Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1/4 teaspoon coriander ground
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano dried
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary dried
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin ground
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 4 whole wheat tortillas
- 1/2 cup hummus
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- carrots shredded
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives
- feta cheese
Instructions
- Add seasonings to steak strips. Add sliced steak strips to a skillet over medium-high heat. Turn after about 3-5 minutes or until desired doneness.
- Spread hummus on tortillas.
- Place vegetables, cheese and steak strips on tortillas. Roll tortillas and serve.
