Now that it’s colder in Michigan, my kids and I love movie nights at our house. And by movie “night” I mean it may start mid-afternoon because bedtime is 7 pm around here.
Yesterday we had a Minions-themed movie night with the NEW Minions movie including these adorable minions treats (recipe below). nd the kids loved it!
My baby just turned two this week and received some minions presents so I thought the timing was perfect to have a Minions movie night.
I not only found the Minions movie at Target (DVD just released on 12/8/15), but it was sold as a Minions Metal Pak Blu-ray/DVD – Deluxe combo. It’s only found at Target and includes 40 minutes of Target Exclusive content.
You can also purchase the movie on Target.com.
And the best part – I received a $5 Target gift card just for purchasing the Metal Pak version!
Here are just a few fun minions products I noticed during my last trip to Target: toys, books, clothing and more. Quite the selection!
Now for that adorable rice crispy treats Minions snack!
I am a huge fan of shopping at Target, especially since they expanded the grocery section at my local Target a few years ago.
Also, I love that I can take all three kids easily (since they have an extra-large shopping cart). And find essentially everything I need for the perfect movie night party.
This rice crispy treats recipe was super simple to make and the kids had a blast decorating their own minions treats.
Two Options For Making Eyes for Minion Treats
I used two different options for the eyes. For the first option, I used candy eyes. For the second option, I made frozen yogurt drops with mini chocolate chips.
Then I outlined the eyes with black decorating gel for the goggles. Both ideas worked great!
