No-Bake Chocolate Chia Energy Bites

These No-Bake Chocolate Chia Energy Bites are full of nutrition and are an easy grab-and-go snack. And most importantly adult and kid-approved!

Apparently, I’m on a chocolate kick since I just posted my new favorite muffins, these amazing chocolate chip banana mini muffins last week.

And now I’m posting another chocolate recipe. However, don’t worry, they both have nutritious ingredients, especially these energy bites I’m talking about today.

I decided to make this recipe since I have more than half a container full of chia seeds and needed something to do with them.

These energy bites include amazing nutrients like protein, fiber and healthy fats. So obviously, I wanted to make them appealing to my kids so they would enjoy them as well. If you’re looking for another variation like a granola bar, check out these Homemade Chewy Granola Bars. They include dried fruit + chocolate – a delicious combo!

I’m glad I thought to put together these energy bites. My entire family can’t get enough of them!

I actually was planning on making them with dates since they are great for holding bites together but I ran out of them.

Thankfully the ingredients I used held together just fine when I blended them together.

Can you tell who got the first bite? I was a close second. And I ended up enjoying these bites all week, especially for lunch.

Do you ever feel like you’re lost as to what to bring to work for lunch? I’ve typically been bringing a salad to work most days.

However, last week I wasn’t in the mood to make more salad so I just added several snacks, including these bites, to my lunch bag and called it a day!

Hope you enjoy these nutritious bites as much as my family and I have. Now it’s time to make a double batch!
