These No-Bake Chocolate Chip Energy Bites are sweet, protein-packed and super simple to create, making them an easy snack for anytime of day.
This is my 2nd post for #Choctoberfest. My first recipe, Chocolate Zucchini Cake was a HUGE hit in my house and I’m sure you’ll love it too!
Choctoberfest is a collaborative of over 40 bloggers coming together to bring you a giveaway and amazing chocolate recipes all week long.
Today I’m introducing a new product (to me) called Just Hemp Foods.
And, as you can see below they have a ton of products including Hemp Protein Powder, Toasted Salted Hemp Seed, Hulled Hemp Seed and Hemp Seed Oil.
I love discovering new products that can fit a balanced, healthy lifestyle. And in case you’re wondering, these products are completely legal to purchase and consume.
Then, as soon as my oldest son saw me open the box he wanted to try everything.
I gave him a sample of the Toasted Salted Hemp Seeds and he LOVED them. And then he requested more at dinner time (along with my 3 year old).
Time-Saver Tip
And, if you want to save even more time, make these into bars!
I’ve started making all my energy bites/balls into bars.
After mixing together the ingredients, place parchment paper inside an 8 x 8-inch pan.
Spread the mixture on top of the parchment paper, cover and refrigerate.
After about one hour, remove the bars with the parchment paper, slice and enjoy!
Dietitian’s Dish
Hemp products are full of nutritious ingredients including protein, fiber and omega-3 fats.
Four tablespoons of Hemp Protein Powder contains 16 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber. And for every three tablespoons of the Toasted Hemp Seeds there are 8 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber.
A healthy snack for just about anyone!
