Basic Ingredients Needed for These No Bake Energy Bites
- old fashioned oats
- chia seeds
- cocoa powder
- vanilla extract
- honey
- peanut butter or other nut butter
Energy bites in general are so versatile.
Allergic to peanut butter? Try another type of nut or soy butter.
Don’t have chia seeds? Leave them out.
It’s quite simple to swap out ingredients when it comes to making energy bites.
I have made a ton of varieties of these bites but always go back to some sort of oats/peanut butter combo.
And, of course, adding in some chocolate doesn’t hurt either.
The only negative about making these is they are literally gone in about 5 minutes after I serve them to my family. Okay, that’s really not a negative, just an obvious sign that I need to make a larger volume of them.
