You can’t go wrong with this One Pot Cheeseburger Macaroni meal that takes less than 30 minutes to get on the table for any busy weeknight and is kid-friendly.
Thanks to Michigan Beef Industry Commission for sponsoring this post.
Did you grow up eating boxed dinners? Honestly, my mom did not serve boxed-type meals too often but we did have several meals that contained canned soup (which was actually quite common).
Regardless of how you grew up, I’m here to show you how it’s sometimes just as easy to make food from scratch versus using a box as a starter.
Don’t be intimidated by the number of ingredients.
It literally takes 30 minutes from start to finish to get this pasta dish on the table. And my ENTIRE family loved this dish!
I don’t know about you but I get ecstatic when my entire family enjoys the same meal on the same night.
When my kids don’t want to eat a certain meal (that I know they have loved in the past) I try to remind myself they are just like adults in the sense they don’t always feel like eating a certain food.
But since I took the time to make the meal I encourage them to eat it, but also serve plenty of fruits and vegetables alongside the main dish for them to eat as well.
Dietitian’s Dish
I have mentioned before how I love to buy ground beef in bulk to save money and also have plenty of dinner options available without running to the store several times a week.
This macaroni dish is a great example of a dish you can likely make with food already found in your pantry.
And if you’re like me who freezes ground beef frequently, check out this video on how to thaw ground beef properly.
