pork shoulder, boneless roast, fat trimmed

onions, diced

Not Your Father's Root Beer (or non-alcoholic)

barbecue sauce, divided
Instructions
Add onions, pork shoulder, beer and half of the barbecue sauce to the slow cooker.
Cook for 6 hours on low or until pork is tender (slow cooker times may vary).
Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks.
Add pork back into slow cooker and stir in remaining barbecue sauce.
Serve on slider buns.
