I am a fan of all kinds of salads however for some reason I don’t like making lettuce salads. That probably sounds funny but I think it’s a lot of work cutting up all the vegetables just to have it eaten in about 5 minutes. I do cut up raw vegetables all the time for meals like casseroles, slow cooker meals and everything in between. It’s just something with salads.

Ingredients
- 4 cups whole wheat pasta
- 1/4 cup Marzetti Simply Dressed® Tuscan Italian Vinaigrette
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Combine dressing, basil, and garlic in small bowl.
- Place pasta in large bowl; add tomatoes, avocado, mushrooms and onion. Add dressing and toss until evenly coated.
